The tragic death of Matthew Perry on October 28, 2023, has unveiled a dark underworld of ketamine trafficking involving high-profile figures, medical professionals, and a woman dubbed the "Ketamine Queen." Authorities have arrested five individuals, including Perry's assistant, medical doctors, and alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha, who is accused of running a large-scale ketamine distribution network.

Sangha, who allegedly sold ketamine to wealthy clients and celebrities, is accused of supplying Perry with 50 vials of the drug for around $11,000. Her North Hollywood residence, known as the "Sangha Stash House," was described as a "drug-selling emporium" where authorities found over 80 vials of ketamine, thousands of other pills, and a handgun during a search.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, one of the doctors involved, reportedly called Perry "a moron" in text messages and charged him exorbitant prices for the drug—up to 165 times its actual cost. Prosecutors allege that Perry paid over $55,000 for 20 vials of ketamine between September and October 2023. Despite knowing the risks and witnessing Perry's worsening addiction, Dr. Plasencia continued supplying the drug and even instructed Perry's assistant on how to administer it.

Following Perry's death, those involved allegedly attempted to cover up their actions. Sangha instructed others to delete messages, and Dr. Plasencia falsified medical records to legitimize the drug supply. Further investigation revealed that Sangha was linked to another overdose death in 2019, where ketamine was listed as the cause of death. Sangha is now facing charges related to both cases.
